The bright colors that permeate the Okushon family of logos reflect Japanese cultural preferences. The colors also serve to move and direct the viewer's eye, mimicking the movement of the train.
- Kurabu means "club" or "clubhouse," the exclusivity of which is symbolized by the keyhole in the counter of the A.
- Shichi Fukujin means "The Seven Gods of Fortune" or "The Seven Lucky Gods". Diners at this world-class traveling restaurant are lucky indeed.
- Konohana, in Japanese mythology, is the blossom princess and symbol of delicate earthly life. Spa-goers receive royal treatment at this sumptuous on-board spa and salon.
